appears one has got off on the wrong side of the bed
Chill out As I recall, you’ve in the past been advised to lose the ‘capital letters’. Rather than sharing (be it at times perverted) views , one has; now resorted to shouting! And stop contradicting yourself, began with “although i luv Anwar myself too but ...” then wrote “after all who the hell was Anwar?”……… what’s that all about? I’ll remind you who Anwar is, he’s the same bloke about whom RAFI saab said “if there’s any singer who could take my place after me it is he” source MD Kamal Rajasthani True anwar did not accomplish greatness in terms of playback singing, partly because of management/advisors and personality/ego clashes and lifestyle etc But what a great compliment to Anwar by RAFI Bro show a little bit of respect, if there are issues speak to us, Everyone has ups and downs Bash this is Anwar’s thread, so you’ll find views here that are obviously pro Anwar, that simply does not mean we don’t appreciate other singers, I consider myself a big Anwar fan, but also have respect and admiration for other ‘refined’ singers, namely Sonu, Udit, Shreya etc, in fact on my YOUTUBE thingy you’ll find more Sonu vids than Anwar. And Bash if we all were realistic i.e not living in a pretentious world then angels would greet us in our walks and shake our hands be amongst our closest friends. ALL IS FORGIVEN |

ALL IS FORGIVEN well maybe bash got a little upset but i never found anyone who knows about music more than bash,i went out of my way and spend so much money since i was a teenager to get any songs of the rafi clones on cd quality, the collection that i have on cd people don,t belive when i tell them what songs i have of mohd.aziz, shabbir and anwar.i share some with u guys for example bewafa ashiq. iam the biggest fan of aziz but i have to be fair, i was born in west indian culture and if u visit trinidad, guyana, suriname, etc, u will hear people blasting songs of rafi and kishoore from young to old, they were and will remain the best singers of all time, i was not a big fan of anwar , he was third on my list out of the three, but i hate to tell you guys that aziz, shabbir, anwar cannot sing everything because they are not versatile like rafi and kishore. so lets be honest with ourselves please, i know you must be shocked to hear this from aziz biggest fan in the universe. but guys think about it can anwar deliver a disco song, a real peppy number or just a fast pace song no way,u want examples listen to ahista ahista, he sang the romantics songs well but any one can sing romantic songs, maybe the one song anwar sang infront of rafi was superb thats why rafi said he is the only one that can replace him but in reality world nobody can replace rafi saab. you guys mention so many titles of anwar i have never heard of those films. shabbir and aziz regardless who don,t like them u will still see those movies they sang in on dvd and video, can someone show me cobra i have never heard of it and wonder who are the weak stars.i don,t want to say anything bad about aziz because i simply love him as a singer, but listen to disco bhangra why in the hell did the music director gave him a song like that to sing, he struggle with it so much, but this is the point iam try to prove none of the three singers are versatile. hope you guys will listen to the songs and see my point. anyways enjoy the music you like . this is my honest opinion so don,t take it to heart. take care guys |
