Hi All,
With a decent response to the two threads on the same theme (with songs from the 40's and the 50's respectively), I am starting a new thread with songs of Geeta ji from the 60's and 70's. As all of us are aware, Geeta ji sang relatively lesser number of songs in the 60's due to many personal problems. As I have said before, most of the songs I will be posting on this thread are originally shared by many generous members of HF. I will be doing a compilation of Geeta ji's songs. Parag thanks for these nice uploads. There are very few Mukesh- Geetaji duets . The reason i feel is beacuse mukesh sang very few songs between 1950 to 1957. This was the time he was busy trying his luck as an actor and director. On the other hand Geetaji sang her maximum songs between this period. Then later when mukesh returned back to his singing carrer Geetaji had reduced her assingnments. As we result they could not sing may duets together. Shubham |

Shubham Hi Shubham, I think you do have a valid point in the observation you have made. Still there are about 21 duets/trio songs Mukesh ji sang with Geeta ji.
