Hi friends!
As Madam Noor Jehan’s 6th Anniversary is coming up (on 23rd December), Can we plan some special tribute to her on this occasion? I am planning to upload some videos (Rare black and white recording of her patriotic songs, she recorded for PTV in 1965). Also I will upload some excerpts from her TV interviews, some rare Audio & Video songs, and some pictures.  I am wondering if it is possible to put a small banner on Main HF page (for that day or a week), to commemorate her Anniversary, like they did at Geeta Dutt’s birthday. Any more ideas? Suggestions? I hope you will help to make it a great event! Looking forward to hear from you!  Inaam |

Now I am uploading a wonderful TV interview of Madam Noor Jehan. It was actually recorded for PTV program ‘Rim Jhim’, the show was dedicated to great music director Khurshid Anwar. They used some of the parts of the interview in another TV program ‘Khiraj-e-Tehseen’ along with some new parts, which were not included in ‘Rim Jhim’,
I have both the shows on VHS. I converted the ‘Khiraj-e-Tehseen’ on VCD, but the result appeared in black and white video while the original VHS source was in colour.  Pata nahin kya gad bad ho gai… anyway there is no time to re convert. I am uploading the interview in black and white video, It contains on many short clips, as I have no software to join the video clips, I zipped all of them in one file. These clips are from ‘Khiraj-e-Tehseen’, I will try to convert the full interview from '‘Rim Jhim’ soon. Enjoy and don’t forget to put your feedback!  |
