Hi all,
I believe Madam Noor Jehan was at her best in 60s. I just want to share some gems from my collection, with all of you. I am specially starting this thread for Ummer as he always request for her songs of 60s. ![]() Here is the first gem, Gaein Hawaein, Jhoomein Fizaaein , It is from ‘Aelaan’ (1967), Music composed by Master Inayat Hussain. He was one of the best music directors of Pakistan. He didn’t work a lot with Noor Jehan, lekin donon ka aik saath jitna bhi kaam hai, almost sab ka sab be-misaal hai. ![]() Enjoy the song! ![]() |

Sharing with you all a rare song...'Jaane waali cheez ka gham kya karein', original sound track from film 'Wah bhai wah' (1964). Composed by Master Abdullah (I think it was his first movie as music director), Lyrics by Classical Urdu Poet 'Daagh'. Unfortunatly the sound quality is not very good.
Madam resang this song in 1980 for PTV's show Tarannum. |
