Please Recomend Universities In The Us / Canada

My eldest son is planning to study Engineering / Computers next year after completing his 10 + 2 from CBSE.
Could you please recomend the best universities - rather the best value universities in the midwest and north region of the US and /or the Ontario region of Canada. If any one has studied or is still a student in this region I would definitely like to hear from you. Please reply on the forum or you may PM me. Best Regards

I am considering University of Waterloo in Canada. In the US I am considering the New Jersy Institute of Technology and the Fairleigh Dickinson University and the North Western University in Boston. Also does any one have any experience of the Co Op System which is in force at some of these institutes. Best Regards

UFT (University of Toronto) isnt bad either! I took Co-op in my first year @ University of Toronto, its like any other co-op system around the globe. They assign you some work OR they ask you to go to some place related to your field! I can take guarantee of UFT!!  I heard UCLA is a very good institute @ Cali  .
