hiya guys, i sincerely hope ur all well & enjoying ur movies & loving the music too! if u dnt know it already- u will very soon that... im an absolutely massive, huge, crazy fan of 'SHRI AMITABH BACHCHAN SAHAAB'. hence my extreme & total dedication towards 'KISHORE KUMAR SAHAAB' too. i have been a sincere, genuine & absolute fan of 'BACHCHAN SAHAAB' since the age of 6. i have all his films, dvds, original cassettes, cds, copy cassettes, records, books, magazines, covers, posters, live shows on video, live shows on cd & audio, concerts, concert & tour shows programme notes, interviews both audio & visual, very rare photos. infact anything & everything. believe it or not even very rare & limited edition of 'COMICS'. im going to start this dream thread of mine today hoping u guys will truly enjoy it as much as i have throughout my life! what better way to start the thread than 'KISHORE KUMAR' & 'AMITABH BACHCHAN' jordi hey? before u say it... i openely admit it!.... YES! i may be & perhaps/possibly am biased. still in my opinion the greatest most successful partnership/combination ever to have graced bollywood was KISHORE KUMAR / AMITABH BACHCHAN. (facts & figures will confirm this). therefore- its a very rare yet beautiful soft romantic solo that i begin with, at a time when amitabh was really struggling to survive at the box-office. while- kishore was ruling the playback scene. SONG : ROOP YEH TERA JISNE BANAYA, KAHIN MIL JAAYE. FILM : SANJOG. YEAR : 1972 STARRING : AMITABH, MALA SINHA & JOHNNY WALKER. MUSIC : R.D. BURMAN. LYRICS : ANAND BAKSHI i sincerely hope u ll enjoy this comprehensive thread to the most charismatic star to have ever graced the bollywood industry. eagerly & anxiously await for ur comments, feedback what ever. take care. BASH. Tumse milkar na jane kyon aur bhi kuch yaad aata hai...

Dear Bash
Its simply fantastic to know your fascination on AB - yes he is undoubtedly the best and the most versatile actor that India has ever seen. Now that you started this topic of Kishore-Amitabh - I want to stress that this combination was the best example of playback singing in Hindi Films - ( but only after Kishore singing for Kishore - that nobody can ever beat, for generations to come ) The voice of Kishore ( we on HF call him "Guru" - and Kishore fans are "Bangdu's" ) and AB fit to the T... One more thing I want to stress here is that Amitabh took so much efforts to successfully portray the voice of Guru on screen. The expresions and mannerisms of Amitabh were simply awesome. The raw energy, the macho voice and "most" important , the "natural singing" of Guru without "trying" to sing in Amitabh's voicem - just sweeps me away and gives tremendous pleasure to see AB on screen. All the best for your thread. Regds KCP PS - I am a big fan of Amitabh's singing voice too and my fascination starts with Mere Paas Aao Mere Dosto & Jidhar Dekhoon Regards
