Hello K-A Fans,
Welcome to the Kalyanji Anandji forum, a tribute to one of the greatest music director pairs in Indian Cinema. This duo churned out excellent music and many of their songs are remembered to this day. They made excellent use of a variety of singers and most of the singers of their era have had a good amount of hits under K-A. After starting out with a strong influence of S-J in their music, they evolved their own style, and always paid attention to melody in each of their tunes. K-A changed with the times and consistently gave good music right throughout their career. I have with me a CD entitled Kalyanji Anandji - The Golden Collection, and I will be uploading 18 tracks from it. Hope you all enjoy !! Here is the first track: Chahe Paas Ho Chahe Door Ho - Lata Mangeshkar & Mohd. Rafi (Samraat Chandragupt/1958) Prince Ali |

Thank you Lakshmi for all your wonderful uploads. I did not have quite a few songs from Raaz and Ji Chahta Hai. I agree with "Bash" that Kalyanji Anandji are underrated and ironically so (at least in my opinion) because of their tremendous popularity in the Seventies and Eighties. Personally I enjoy their early albums much more, but they were also extremely innovative and developed and incorporated many influences in their music. They also consistently used new voices in their albums, the three beautiful Rafi_Suman duets of Jee Chahta Hai are very pleasant.
