Though the recording is not so bad but you can hear Anwar singing Rafi Sahab's song to his level best. At the party where I was seated near him, I could tell he had some of Rafi Sahab's quality but not his pitch or style or the charisma. Check it out

AMAZING - all you need for a perfect nights entertainment is ANWAR with a Harmonium and a Tabla player - no technical equipment to enhace the voice etc or Chorus support. Indeed he may drink but as RKA says "HE WAS GRACIOUS ENOUGH TO ENTERTAIN US FOR UP TO 4 HOURS (in a living room)", that sathiyo only suggest; ANWAR Saab is a down to earth kind of guy  and yes Nadeem Bhai - a damn fine artist.  |
