A flop all over. Initially, the producer had been reluctant to compromise on his price and refused to part with the reels at the ration of Rs. 1.25 core per territory. By the time the film was ready for release, Govinda had a line of flops behind him. The ditributors lost interest in the project and Rizvi had trouble selling his movie. A few distributors bought the film at half the price they were willing to shell out earlier.
