Sri Bhai:
Perhaps an opportunity should be extended to those individuals who were scheduled but unable to participate. This will maintain the integrity for future participation. Thank you. |

Sri Bhai: Perhaps an opportunity should be extended to those individuals who were scheduled but unable to participate. This will maintain the integrity for future participation. Thank you. akbaralibhai...your suggestion is a good one.....but, the real problem is that people have 'extended' themselves in order to participate...for e.g., playing from 11 pm to 2 am local time. etc.,....and if the time schedules are not adhered to...then they would have not only wasted time in preparing the program...they would have lost their sleep too. People may not mind some changes ...for any good cause etc.....but they need to be kept informed...that's all I'm saying....preferably in advance...otherwise the system will fall apart. Yes...surely some other slot could be given to them....if they are willing to play....but people had chosen time slots which were convenient ...and, it may be difficult to switch easily. I am not against change of plans ...after all we are just a group of friends playing for our own pleasure......but in a group, one has to be sensitive to other people ...and cannot take them for granted and treat them like doormats. In a relay situation, the least any DJ expects is to be kept informed, if there is a change. That is very basic courtesy....not anything great. I am very disappointed with this kind of situation. It is not acceptable. Sri "Jis din is duniya se nafrat aur khudgarzi mit jaayegi, us roz yeh insaan naachega, us roz yeh dharti gaayegi" - Rajinder Krishan (Maa baap 1959)
