I have the feeling that Rajendra Krishan, an icon among lyricists, if perhaps the most underrated, People discuss Sahir , Shailendra, even Gulzar and Javed, but not this guy whose work spans mpre than 3 decades.

1) chale jana nahin nain milake - badi behen 1949- husnlal bhagatram
this is lata's 1st solo song with RK's lyrics. 2) baharein phir bhi aayengi magar hum tum juda honge- lahore 1949- shyamsundar deep lyrical meaning with slow yet heart-capturing rendition. 3) dheere se aa ja ri akhiyan mein- albela 1951 c ramchandra i think its second most famous lori after Saigal's so ja raajkumari 4) mera dil yeh pukare aaja -- nagin 1954 hemant kumar 5) mera qarar le ja - ashiyana- 1952- madan mohan 1st film where lata-madan-rajendra came together. 6) yun hasratonke daag - adaalat-1958- madan mohan 7) hum pyar mein jalanewalonko-jailor- 1958 madan mohan 8) kadar jane na, mora balam bedardi ji- bhai bhai- 1956- madan mohan 9)gham ki wadi mein khushi ka karavan- saki- 1952 c ramchandra 10)jis ghar mein dulhan ban ke aayi- ulfat-1980-kalyan ji anand ji RK's last solo song for lata. vn book lists no other song by rk. after this one.
