Some are versions of the hindi songs.. more so coz it is a remake of the hindi movie.. while some have been blatantly copied!

Let us list or u/l songs of both versions (for comparison only.. even a clip of the antara should suffice)

Found another song.. P Susheela has sung this... Original by Lata ji - Aap kyon roye...Sangeetbhakt ji do you know the words of the tamil song?????? I dont seem to remember the words.. except when the aap kyon roye bit comes as azhuveden kanna..

"Woh kaun thhi" was made in Tamil into a film called "Yaar nee" starring
Jayalalitha and Jaishankar (who can match Manoj Kumar's vacant expressions
to the last lack of twitch). The music was by "consistently inspired" Veda.
P Susheela does an excellent job in most of the songs. She is particularly
fantastic in "Ponmeni thazhuvaamal" which is the equivalent of "Lag ja gale".

I have the Tamil version of all the songs except the one Nimmi mentioned above.
I have a not too great video recording of this one. Nimmi, the song lyrics are
"Yen vedhanayil un kaNNiranDum ennoDu azhavadheN kaNNa". I can upload
the video version if you like.
