Hello friends.
This is my humble suggestion to upload and request their duets in one single thread.Other wise it will be difficult to track and find it.It will be helpfull for the members too.Especially considering the fact that Rafi-Lata duets have the most demand. Also request members to upload Rafi saab's songs in this forum itself as much as possible or provide links ( as Usrafian did for Rafi-Suman duets). This is only my thinkings and any other suggestions are welcome. I wd like to start the request with few songs kindly upload it if anybody have these songs. 1.Hum ne aaj se sanam yeh (Film Raja sahab) 2.Parbat se is paar parbat se us paar goonj ude chananam(Sargam) Both of this I do have in Casset but not in mp3 or cd format. 3.Neel gagan par udte badaal aaa aa aaa, khet abhi hai kachha dana pak jaye to kha ( ?) 4.Mere pyaar ke awaaz pe chali aana oh chali aana...mein aa rahi hum(?). Thx Prince Ali bhai.Beautifull song in good quality.I thought that I am not going to get this one once I saw Nimiiji's post that it cant be uploaded. In my openion there should nt be nt any year lilmit for songs of Rafi saab ,Lataji Kishore da,Mukeshji.
To indicate the ineffectiveness of our rule I can show one example. There was a popular duet in a film called 'Vishwasgatt' which was released in 90s sung by Lataji with some body lyrics like this 'yeh dil kyom dhadaktee hain raharahake machalti hain..........mujhe pyar pyar pyar hogayaa aaa aaa'.I remember that it was beautifull song. That song is not availble today since it is only one popular song in an unpopular film and u cant get it our forum even if some member have it.But a popular song like 'ay dile nadan' or 'tumhi mera mandir' which is available in any CD shop can be requested and uploaded . Any way Ali bhai can you please tell about this film?who acted in the song scene? Was there any other songs in it by either Rafi saab or Lataji? Thanks dil doondtha hain phir vohi fursat ke raat din

Thanks Ashraf bhai, I found more information on the film. The movie took off in the year 1966 but was delayed for a very long time until its release in 1994. The film starred Raaj Kumar, Sadhana and Waheeda Rehman and was directed by K. Shankar. Since I haven't seen the film, I am not aware of who the song was filmed on although it seems like the lead pair. According to Earthmusic, there is one more Lata/Rafi duet entitled "Chota Sa Sansaar Hamara...", the other Lata songs in the film are "Aas Ka Panchi Udta Jaaye..." (with Usha M) and "Jis Ghar Mein Dulhan Banke Aayi...". The title song of the film is by K. Yesudas. Doesn't it seem as if "Baharon Se Kahen Ge..." was recorded sometime in the seventies with the rhythm, music etc. In that case I don't think K-A started working on the music from 1966 due to this delay and they ended up recording the songs later. Also with Yesudas in the film it seems more likely from the seventies since he didn't make his debut in HFM until that time. Hope that helps ! Prince Ali |
