Who Is Nitin Mukesh?? Options

Hi friends,

could anyone please kindly 'enlighten' me on who this singer Nitin Mukesh is? I have heard him sing and think that his style is identical to Mukesh saab's. Is he a relative on Mukesh in some way??? I believe that this singer had started singing in Hindi Films in the early 80's/90's.

Please can anyone post some information on him.

Have also heard that "Loote Koi Mann Ka Nagar" was originally supposed to be a Mukesh-Lata duet. Manhar recorded for Mukesh's part initially and SDB thought he will re-record it in Mukesh's voice later. When Mukesh heard the song, he told SDB that Manhar had done a good job and they should keep his voice. And that is how Manhar got to do "Loote Koi Mann Ka Nagar".

HFM's loss turned out to be Gujarati Music's gain.

thanks to Mukesh, we could actualy hear manhar.

and about nitin's dancing, i too have seen him dancing in live shows of LP.
and thankfully i was in front of tv and not there.
i could see that he enjoyed his gyrations but not so sure about the audiance.

( music director sajjad's son used to play mendolin in Pankaj Udhas' orchestra. )
