A REQUEST ABOUT "SONG REQUESTS" Options

This applies to all forums.

It would be appreciated if the following points are observed when requesting song uploads:

1) Please check the Songs Library before requesting the song

2) Please clarify if the song is in the Library OR that you already have the song, but you are seeking a longer version/film version/better sound quality

3) Please specify if you want the upload only from a DVD or CD, since some members take the trouble of converting from records and tapes

4) Please provide the name of the film/album if you have the information -- makes it easier to track down the song

You would appreciate that members take time and trouble to fulfill our requests, and we owe it to them to be as helpful as possible.

Your kind co-operation is sincerely requested.

Any further suggestions from our members in this regard would be most welcome.

Point well taken. The listings on-line are often incomplete.

All that we are suggesting is, IF we know the name of the singer, it would be most useful to provide it. As Anurag mentioned, we are more likely to find a song by one of the "legends" if the request is posted in the forum dedicated to that artiste. Members of that forum, being devoted fans of that artiste, are more likely to possess the track and oblige us with an upload.

Of course, if we don't know who the singer is, the question does not arise.

As for uploading all the songs of a movie/album: Usually the requests are for particular songs. It would be impractical to upload all the songs of an album since every upload takes up valuable memory on the server. Moreover the instances of every song being good in a movie/album are quite rare.

You would appreciate that we are trying to fulfill the specific individual requests, and not to showcase the entire album.
