Hello Everybody.........am back with a new topic
SACHIN TENDULKAR There has already been a lot talked about sachin's form for the past year or so in the tests and the ODIs. The real essence of it is "ARE WE SEEING THE FINAL STAGES OF SACHIN'S CAREER ???" His batting has definitely changed, no question about it. It attributes to his maturity as a individual and as a cricketer. But the way he got out in the tests against PAK, somehow i feel it suggests something else. He was all over the place yesterday when he got out to Mohammed Asif and didnt move his feet as quickly as he should have in the first innings when bowled by Abdur Razzaq. I was watching the 2nd inning of Karachi Test yesterday. A couple of commentators includig Rameez Raza were convinced that he looked set for the big innings. The way he belted Shoaib Akthar for a pull and a backfoot square drive suggested that he was at it. Finally he misjugded the bounce and was castled. With this, some cricket writers are already saying he has played his last innings in PAK. Seeing all this I get a feeling he has lost the sting in his belly. His commitment to the team is unquestionable, I do not deny that. He is a champion cricketer and he needs a challenge to perform. With the INDIAN team, as we can see, is no longer dependending on the "TENDULKAR FACTOR" to perform, I feel it has affected his approach and contributions to the team. With all this said lets get your views. "IS THIS THE DUSK OF THE SACHIN ERA????"......THE DEBATE IS ON Wise men talk because they have something to say....

I must admit I have not watched much cricket latley, only followed
scores and results. So I cannot speak about SRT's techniques. He has gone through some injuries and so not as active latley. But can we really question his talent and attitude. Did he not break the record for no. test centuries a couple of months ago? I think he is a threat to score a century any time he is at the crease. It would also be unfair to expect repeat of his past heroics. Ramesh R a m e s h

There is one new participant in this debate, that is none other than PAK cricketer IMRAN KHAN.
What follows is the excerpts of his column from THE HINDU "On Wednesday, the Indian team needed Tendulkar to stem the rot and inspire those who followed him to play around him. Unfortunately, that did not happen and this is not the first time in his career that Tendulkar failed when the team needed him. Having said that, his vigil at the crease showed that Tendulkar is far from over. Few batsmen would have played with the assurance he showed after being hit on the helmet by Shoaib Akhtar. His strokeplay was confident and powerful, and I still feel that he has the class to continue playing for his country. I also feel that questions about his future are silly because there is no batsman in India to replace him just yet." - Imran khan Can anyone replace TENDULKAR????? n'JOI Vishwa Wise men talk because they have something to say....

Sachin can decide this the best...
"It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure." -- Albert Einstein
