As I said before that one of my patient told me that he has Rafi saheb" song s diary.I requested him to to give me for few days so than I can scan it and post it to H/F.He was very reluctant but I persuaded and convinced him to give it to me . These are two diaries with calender of 1968 and 1969 in it,First one is numbered as Book no.57 1-11-68 31-12-68 other one is titeled as Book no 58 from 1-1-1969 to12-4-1969 Attached image(s)

What could the the initials FC, BL, FL etc. stand for (recording studio perhaps) ? |

Yes, I also presume that FC, BL, FL must be indicative of the recording studio. As per my guess, FC might stand for Famous Cine Lab or Filmcenter (may be FL for Filmcenter Lab), BL might stand for Bombay Lab. There are only these 3 abbreviations in Rafisaab's diary of 1968 and there may not be many such recording studios at that time. What a wonderful treasure Doctorsaab has brought for us. Kudos to him. The patient who has handed over this diary to him must be one of Rafisaab's close relative or associate. What more Rafisaab's innemerous fans could ask around his 25th death anniversary. By going through these details we came to know that Rafi saheb recorded 4 songs on 20-11-68,and 3 and 2 songs per day was common History is being written in this thread eagerly waiting for Unniji's expert comments |
