Okie....I thought I should start a similar thread (as I did in the Lata subforum) here as well.

Songs will be random, any language (unless there are language rules here like Bengali songs in Bengali forum only?!?!), and those that have not been uploaded here before (most of the time). Requests are allowed as well.

So..being Bengali, I begin with 2 Bangla numbers - very popular - and my favourites.
(i don't know the music director in these songs, or if they are filmi/non-filmi)

i) I hope the above 6:09min, 146 Kbps song drains all Ur (priya's) bandwidth ....kiddinggg.....okie...maybe not such a good joke.

ii) Contrary to popular belief (aka Priya's hallucination ), this song is a solo, and not a duet with Mahendra Kapoor - unless maybe there is a seperate duet version that I do not know about. Flawless singing by Asha-ji.

iii) Here is a modified article that many might be interested in:

iiii) I think I am spending more time with Asha songs these days than with Lata's. Well Lata fans...don't fret...I am on a mission....to convert 2 mighty tigresses, who are rather very ziddi. But the future is already predicted, they will bow before Lata sooner or later. I am just trying to make them realize that sooner IS better.

iiiii) Yes..I do know my Roman numerals - I am just trying something new.
