Here's the doyen Madurai Mani Iyer singing "Kandan Karunai Puriyum Vadivel" in Raag Bhimpalasi. The same tune was heard in Hindi, "Veena Madhur Madhur Kachhu Bol" from "Ram Rajya" (1943) sung by Saraswati Rane. If you stop trying to make sense of it all, you'll be less confused. Reality is an illusion.

The song was copied from an arabic tune. If you guys can upload that song or atleast PM me I would really appreciate. Although I dont really understand tamil, I love that song so much.
