As I said, the song is credited to Saroj Mohini Nayyar, but OP Nayyar claims that he himself wrote it. I had met OPN in 1996 and he himself mentioned this saying that if he had given his own name he would not have been paid extra!

If I remember correctly then he had also mentioned this fact in one of his interviews (was is SKSKM of Ameen Sayani?).
