In the early sixties the songs of the Shammi Kapoor/Mala Sinha starrer "Dil Tera Deewana" were very popular. But only recently did I discover a virtually unheard gem from this movie: a soulful duet recorded in the heydays of Rafi-sahab and Lata-ji.
I get goose-pimples when I hear these divine voices together yet again in a "new" song. Listen to them wafting over the high notes and effortlessly descending to the low notes! Sharad:
I thought I had it in one of the Revival audio-tapes, but I couldn't find it. So I copied it from the audio-tape of the movie's songs having so-so quality. If you have it on CD, I bet you have a cleaner version. If so, let's sneak by C-ji and would you U/L again. Magar madam ko bathaana nahin! Cheers --- Unni P.S. No more ji's and beta's and bhai's and sires. If you stop trying to make sense of it all, you'll be less confused. Reality is an illusion.
