Some pics of Kodaikanal, in Tamil Nadu
Expected a lot more from this hill station though. Yet another place that has become commercialised, noisy, crowded and polluted. Sad... Pics of some of the nicer spots here - as we ventured more into the interiors and away from the well known and frequented spots. The lake ofcourse is a spot that all tourists visit. Joy, sorrow, tears, lamentation, laughter — to all these music gives voice, but in such a way that we are transported from the world of unrest to a world of peace, and see reality in a new way, as if we were sitting by a mountain lake and contemplating hills and woods and clouds in the tranquil and fathomless water. - Albert Schweitzer Without music life would be a mistake - Friedrich Nietzsche Where words fail, music speaks - Hans Christian Anderson Music is spiritual. Never visited Kodai, Ooty, Darjeeling, Nainital...the list is very long. Unfortunately we never learnt to conserve the natural beauty of our places ...
Some day will go around Mera Bharat Mahaan.. After silence that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.
