Anupama Ji,

Many many sincere thanks for this Lata gem from Jailor. Especially, when I start hearing the opening music (Piano, Flute and Violins), I just get nostalgically ecstatic!

Venkat

I have changed many views in life since my childhood, but not my view of Rafi Saab as the God-sent Gandharva who visited this Earth briefly to spread ultimate ecstasy among genuine music-lovers!

BTM, I thought you had a good ear for music.

K, here are the differences:

1. One version is DVD Ripped and the other is CD Ripped. Both were recorded separately.

2. Notice the opening music difference between the two.

3. Now come to the MUKHDA: "Hum Pyaar Mein Jalne Waalon Ko Chain Kahan Haaye Aaraam Kahan"
Lata Mangeshkar sang this line twice in the film version. Whereas, in the album version she sang it only once.

The film version - Hum Pyaar Mein Jalne Waalon Ko Chain Kahan Haaye Aaraam Kahan
Hum Pyaar Mein Jalne Waalon Ko Chain Kahan Haaye Aaraam Kahan
Hum Pyaar Mein Jalne Waalon Ko...........

The album version - Hum Pyaar Mein Jalne Waalon Ko Chain Kahan Haaye Aaraam Kahan
Hum Pyaar Mein Jalne Waalon Ko..........

At the end:
The film version - Apna Mann Chhalne Waalon Ko Chain Kahan Haaye Aaraam Kahan
Hum Pyaar Mein Jalne Waalon Ko Chain Kahan Haaye Aaram Kahan
Hum Pyaar Mein Jalne Waalon Ko...

The album version -Apna Mann Chhalne Waalon Ko Chain Kahan Haaye Aaraam Kahan
Hum Pyaar Mein Jalne Waalon Ko.....
(one whole line is missing at the end)

4. The album version is much clearer and crispier than the film version.

5. The album version has a slow pace, film version - a bit fast.

Maybe these minor details don't make any difference to you but to me they do. Even a single word or one extra musical note changes the whole mood of the song.

I have a request.... please...If you download these different versions, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do your homework first before you bother the uploader.

Ek toh song upload karo phir baith ke details likho.. Man who's got the time?

FYKI - this DVD version was uploaded on request (see the title).

It's sad to see that gratitude is outta fashion these days. sad.gif

i think i did mention that "hum pyaar mein" was repeated in the dvd version

as for the crisper/speed issues.........i think we all realise various sources have speed/clarity differences which were totally unintended by the composer.

i think i also added that the begining of the cd version i have is similar to the version uploaded. now if in one particular cd the shuroo ka flute etc is chopped off...

obviously an uploader cant know what version the downloader has

all i am requesting....n it was a general request...something i had felt earlier too n wanted to express pehle bhi .... n posted it this time.......is that please do also post the differences as u see/hear them.

it wasnt to undermine ur effort......n if u felt that then i am sorry.

if u can be sweet enough to take time out to rip music n upload...please do take an additional 2 mins to also post what u think is different..........thats all i was requesting

this ratio issue is quite prohibitive..n some ppl might want to think twice about downloading stuff that they might already have............now of course one can scoff it off n say they dont deserve to be here or arent discerning enough... ...but an educated choice if made possible would be greatly appreciated...

again...it wasnt a personal attack..........n i am sorry if u felt unappreciated....... but that wasnt my intention.

all of HF can see what lovely albums n songs u bring to us

thx
