Hi All

I am uploading 3 songs of Geetaji sung for a Nepali film Maitighar (1966).
All are in 128 KBPS and mp3 format.

These dont seem to be full songs to me. Any one having full songs, please upload the same.

By the way was this the first Nepali film ever made? I got this information from a friend, but I can not find any website on the net supporting this. Can some one please confirm?

Parag,

Several songs in Maitighar were short snips (music by Jaidev). Some audio files had several snips combined. I think, the songs were uploaded earlier. I will look in my collection to see if I have any missing ones.

Thanks for the pointer. So this is what it says "The first film to be produced under a private banner was Maitighar (meaning the birth home of a girl), which was released at the end of 1966 by Sumonanjali Films Pvt. Ltd. ". So Maitighar does have that distinction. Thanks again.

I have 4 song audio all from forum members.
There are about 5 or 6 song videos on YouTube. They seem to include most songs in the album listing. There is one song video (over 8min) includes 3 or 4 short songs.
