Pt Shivram composed Rafi sahab's evergreen hit, "Daulat ke jhoothe nashe mein ho choor" in Oonchi haveli.

Sometime back there was a query if any other Pt Shivram's sogns are known either from Oonchi haveli or any other movie. I think the answer came to a naught. Second try anyone?

Pandit Shivram composed music for a number of movies in 1950s and 1960s, mostly mythologicals for which he was type cast. I believe, he was introduced by V.Shantaram in 1953 in two movies Surang and Teen Batti Char Rasta. both movies had a few sweet melodies sung by Lata "Chhalken Na Gham Ke Pyale", "Gehri Gehri Nadiya Mein" and "Guzari Thi Raat Aadhi" in Surang and "Kitna Meethha Hota Hai", "Apni Ada Par Main Hoon Nisar" and "Koi Humko Na Dekhe" in TBCR. TBCR also had the famous multi-lingual song as well a couple of Talat beauties, notably Ishq Preet Pyar.

In 1955, apart from the famous "Daulat Ke Jhoothhe Nashe Mein" from Oonchi Haveli, Pandit Shivram also composed beautiful music for Talat - Nadira starrer with outstanding songs such as "Kya Karoon Seene Mein Hook Uthhati Hai", "Sahara Koi Mil Jaata" and "Tumhe Maine Chaha, Badi Chot Khayi", all three Talat solos and a duet with Asha "Mohabbat mein Jeena, Hai Toofan Mein Jeena". His other notable movies in 1950s were, Sati Anasuya, Jai Ambe, Gauri Shankar, Naya Kadam and Shravan Kumar.

In 1960s too Pandit Shivram made a notable contribution in movies such as Kan Kan Mein Bhagwan (Sabko Naach Nachata Phir Bhi Nazar Nahi Jo Aata - Manna Day, Apne Piya Ki main Toh Bani Re Joganiya - Suman, Nadiya Na Piye Kabhi Apna Jal and the Title Song - both by Mahendra Kapoor), Sati Nari (Tum Naacho Ras Barase - Mahendra Kapoor) and Shankar Seeta Anasuya (Humne Jag Ki Ajab Tasveer Dekhi - Pradeep and Yugon Se Kahani Yehi Chali Aayi - Rafi). In 1965, he also composed fabulous music for Shree Ram Bharat Milan with three outstanding bhajans by Rafi - "Dekho Re Pehli Baar Meri Zindagani Phali, Bhagwan Ko Karne Paar Bhagat Ki Naav Chali", "Bolo Dishao Bolo Hawao Tum Ko Bharat Pukare, Koi Bolo Re Kaun Se Bun Mein Basey Merey Ram Pyare" and " Jagat Mein Hon Ram Bharat Jaise Bhai, Jagat Mein Hon Ram Bharat Jaise Bhai".

A few other movies for which he gave music in 1960s were Durga Pooja, Mahasati Behula, Veer Bajrang and Sampooran Teerth Yatra.
