Mahesh ji,

I understand that Manna Dey and S. K. Pal completed the music for this movie due to untimely death of Khemchand Prakash who was the original MD for this movie. As per the list given by you in the post No. 1 above, all songs were composed by Manna Dey and S. K. Pal. So I gather, Khemchand Prakash did not compose any song for this movie. Am I right?

I am surprised Manna Dey didn't sing for himself (unless he's the male voice in 1). Maybe he wanted to concentrate on the arranging.

I'm uploading Ye Jinse Palbhar Ki Pehchan (#6). Its an absolutely LOVELY Asha song - and she sang it beautifully. I really can't believe Khemchand had nothing to do with it! S K Pal may have been responsible for orchestration after the composition was written by Khemchand.

It would be a good-bye that befits one of the greats...if you haven't heard this song before, you're in for a real treat my friend!!!

I found lyrics of the second song online and seems to be one of the earliest songs I have heard with a bit of mumbaiyya language.
