Specially for Nimz and Priyz... Love is like a large white cat (by Nicholas Gordon) Love is like a large white cat Sitting on its paws. You may pet it all you like; It lives by its own laws. It comes and goes as it decides No matter what you say. It seems the more you want it near, The more it goes away. And then when you are quite content To sit out in the sun Alone with just your thoughts and dreams, Not needing anyone, In it comes, as if in fear That somehow you'll forget, And jumps up purring in your lap, Demanding to be pet. There's no use in weeping,
Though we are condemned to part: There's such a thing as keeping A remembrance in one's heart: ...........by Charlotte Bronte |

Give me a kiss to build a dream on
And my imagination will thrive upon that kiss Sweetheart, I ask no more than this A kiss to build a dream on Give me a kiss before you leave me And my imagination will feed my hungry heart Leave me one thing before we part A kiss to build a dream on When I’m alone with my fancies...I’ll be with you Weaving romances...making believe they’re true Give me your lips for just a moment And my imagination will make that moment live Give me what you alone can give A kiss to build a dream on When I’m alone with my fancies...I’ll be with you Weaving romances...making believe they’re true Give me a kiss to build a dream on And my imagination will thrive upon that kiss Ah sweetheart, I ask no more than this A kiss to build a dream on - LA I believe if I should die, And you should kiss my eyelids when I lie Cold, dead, and dumb to all the world contains, The folded orbs would open at thy breath, And, from its exile in the isles of death, Life would come gladly back along my veins. From Creed by Mary Ashley Townsend See! the mountains kiss high heaven, And the waves clasp one another; No sister flower would be forgiven If if disdained its brother; And the sunlight clasps the earth, And the moonbeams kiss the sea:-- What are all these kissings worth, If thou kiss me not me? From Love's Philosophy by Percy Bysshe Shelley On the patio of that little cafe in the Del Mar Plaza across from the Esmeralda Bookstore, where you can sit sipping lam5 & look out past the Pacific Coast Highway onto the ocean, a couple is tangled in one of those steamy, smoldering kisses. His right arm coils her waist, arching her back & drawing her toward him. He could be Sicilian, or Lebanese, with that gorgeous complexion, those chiseled forearms, that clutch of dark curls. The young woman's skirt, lilac & sheer, lifts as she stretches, levitated out of her sandals, out of her body, her head flung back, fingers wrapped in his curls. Her long chestnut hair spills toward her thighs as she clings to his mouth, to his loins, to his chest. How wickedly beautiful both of them are! To their left, off the North County coast, on an infinite sea, two sailboats triangulate heaven. In the sheen of the morning, you munch an apricot scone & sip your cafe latte, that blue cup of light at your lips, with its genie of steam. In its vase, on your table, a white tea rose shimmers. Your fork shines on its plate. Everything trembles & glows. Steve Kowit's |

All the 4 are awesome, fabulous. Wow, great. The lebanese men are handsome & women beautiful. They do have a great complexion. Lovers sometimes rub (by Nicholas Gordon) Lovers sometimes rub each other's Nerves a little raw. We find ourselves beside ourselves And don't want any more. But then we think: What would we do Without that sweet embrace? How could we go from day to day Not seeing that dear face? And then we see our discontent From the other side, Looking at how we must look Without our blinding pride: And we feel love come flowing in Like a warm and gentle sea, Knowing that this special place Is where we want to be. Night comes for me throughout the day Night comes for me throughout the day And closes my external door. I know that I am in for more Unhappiness, and yet I stay. The pain of missing you is less Than that of missing thoughts of you. And so I'd rather suffer through This torture than face emptiness. I want you with me, even though You're not with me. You are the light That gets me through this awful night Yet brings the darkness where I go. There's no use in weeping,

QUOTE I want you with me, even though You're not with me. You are the light That gets me through this awful night Yet brings the darkness where I go. you are the light defining describing me I cling on to you, lingering by the very edges mesmerized and bound by the brightness Your keep moving bringing alive the inanimate how so wonderful and colorful patterns your touch can weave. I might have missed otherwise, showing me how wonderful you lure and entice me to leave the comfortable wraps of darkness and follow your pursuit, never letting me go neither embracing my self I know some day I will be alone again in silence and misery of my comfortable darkness and lost once more in my mundane existance trying to reach out and touch that flower on the wall in hope of finding warmth or that table top to trace a familiar pattern. I know am just the shadow you cast in a bright gay moment, never to look back that faded somewhere in that path traversed long ago |

To the poet belongs llife in its full & absolute entirety, not merely the beauty that men look at, but the beauty that men listen to........... Most people become bankrupt to having invested too heavily in the prose of life. To have ruined one's self over poetry is an honour.
Oscar Wilde "Once touched by love, all men become poets." -- Plato, 400 B.C. "The moment we want to believe something, we suddenly see all the arguments for it, and become blind to the arguments against it."
