the music director of this song is shyambabu pathak not anilda.
in the film jeet anil biswas gave music for six songs and shyambabu pathak for four.a complete list of all the songs geeta sang for anil biswas is available atthe following thread''geeta sings for anil biswas''-

thanks for the song mohdbhai.although everywhere[on records,cds,cassettes]the singer is mentioned as geeta roy;i somehow feel that the voice is not hers and it is some other singer.

Yes Akhtar! Khurshid Anwar started his career as a Music Director in 1941. While yet in India, he was acclaimed as one of the most original and accomplished composers of the sub-continent. He had won the Best Music Director of the Year award for ‘Parwana’ in 1947 and ‘Singhar’ in 1949. Besides, he had scored rich musical successes in ‘Kurmai’, ‘Ishara’, ‘Parakh’, ‘Aaj aur kal’, ‘Nishana’ and ‘Neelam Pari’.

geeta dutt was khurshid anvar's main singer in his two last indian films-nishana[50] and neelampari[52].he liked her voice and singing style so much that he wanted her to sing in a zahar- e -ishq.he contacted her in bombay and she agreed to record for the film.but somehow because of adverse publicity in pakistani press by some journalists,she had to cancel the singing assignment.she however sang for another
pakistani film ''miss 56''.but it was for another music director.
