I tried it Nisar, but couldn't find. Is there any way to view it ??? Ok, This is
A story I don't know whether I should post it here or not: Just read it .....
**************************************************************
This is an Interesting Fact regarding a Discussion among 3 Men. 1 is a Physicist
2nd 1 is an Astrophysicist and 3rd 1 is a Mathematican. This Story u will get in the
Book: The Structure of the Universe. Oxford: Oxford University Press, Narlikar, J. (1977).
The Story follows: 1 day, the 3 friends were moving in a Garden and they suddenly
Saw a Sheep at a far distance: By just looking at the sheep, the Astrophysicist said:
" Oh, so the sheeps of the Garden X ( That garden was called by some name, I
Have Forgotten that name so let's use X ) is Black ". Then he looked at the Physicist.
The Physicist said: " No, we can't say such general things so quickly. After observing a number
Of Sheeps we can say like that. But now just looking at that Sheep we can only say
That In the Garden X, Black Sheeps r available. Then as usually, he looked at the Mathematican.
Then What Our Mathematician said ?: Can u guess what he said ? He remained silent for
Sometime, then he started: " I don't agree with any 1 of u.
We can only say that at this time, the color of the portion of the sheep at that place
Which we r looking at and which is in our side seems to be black. "
Can u Guess what does the Author want to say ???
**************************************************************
So How do u feel about the Story ???? And also continue this Topic .......

Good! please continue this topic.

Nature, in your story, I feel that Mathematician and Physicist are misplaced. Am I right?

'Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia' is the fear of long words.

*

While on this topic, here is an interesting read from Dictionary.com (http://dictionary.reference.com/help/faq/language/l/longestword.html)

Q. What is the longest word in the dictionary?
A. It depends . . .

It might be supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (which appears in the Oxford English Dictionary), unless you want to count names of diseases (such as 'pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis', defined by the OED as "a factitious word alleged to mean 'a lung disease caused by the inhalation of very fine silica dust' but occurring chiefly as an instance of a very long word"), places (such as 'Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch', a village in Wales), chemical compounds (apparently there is one that is 1,913 letters long), and also a few words found only in Joyce's Finnegans Wake.

Other words famous for being sesquipedalian:

* antidisestablishmentarianism ("opposition to the disestablishment of the Church of England")
* floccinaucinihilipilification
* honorificabilitudinitatibus (Which appears in Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost, and which has been cited as [dubious] evidence that Francis Bacon wrote Shakespeare's plays)

Or perhaps smiles is the longest word — after all, there is a mile between the first letter and the last.

Cheers,

That the Story must be correct. That's the Difference between Mathematics & Physics/Others.

On the topic of interesting facts, look at this:

Man is the only 'animal' that sleeps on its back.

Only in humans, the spinal column enters vertically at the base of the skull. For others, it enters at 90 degrees to the skull. For monkeys, etc. it enters at a different angle, but not like a human's. That's why they appear to 'slouch' while walking/sitting.

----------- SOME IMPORTANT FACTS ABOUT BATS -----------

1. There are nearly 1,000 species of bats in the world. However, bats are
basically tropical animals and only about 40 kinds of bats live in North
America.

2. Mexican free-tailed bats can fly 10,000 feet high

3. Townsend’s-big eared bats can pluck insects from foliage.

4. Hibernating little brown bats can stop breathing for almost an hour
during hibernation to reduce their energy needs.

5. Fishing bats have an echolocation system so sophisticated they can
detect a minnow’s fin as fine as a human hair.

6. The Honduran white bat, a colorful snow-white bat with yellow nose and
ears, cuts large leaves to make “tents” to protect its small colonies
from drenching jungle rains.

7. The hippo is the third biggest land animals, slightly smaller but
heavier than a white rhino - the elephant is the biggest. But no animal has
killed more people than the hippo. In spite of its huge size - 3 metres
(12 feet) in length, 1,5 metres (five feet) tall, with a mouth measuring a
half metre (two feet) across - the hippopotamus can outrun a human. The
bellowing of a bull hippo measures an ear-splitting 115 decibels, sounding
like the roar of a lion.
