Unni bhai, I've started this pakka dhaaga thread ..lets see how long it survives 
I know its not gonna be as strong as Kachha Daaga

It must be KK 's song...
Only CD ripped allowed.... no tapes no LP , EP noise hissing , etc etc unlike KD
And above all .... the most imp rule would be ...Unni should not have that song in CD

What do I say about this song..... a GEM OF A GEM ... all I can say is am never tired of hearing this song again and again .....
Its picturized on really pretty lady..even now when you see her in Drama or TV she looks simply awesome.... nice dimpi cheeks and beautiful smile... guessed it ? Poonam Dhillon....

Nice song from Rakhi aur Hathkadi. Unfortunately, it was picturised on an expressionless and young Vijay Arora and an ageing Asha Parekh, who looked more like his aunty than his lover. Waste of a good song.

Jayant bhai CD tau ghar pe hain , shaam ko Scan karke daalta hoon CD covers , I dont remember much as had bought it couple of years back... but most probably those are by EMI or HMV....

Ok bhai log the next CD is Oh Bewafa... the same guy from piya ka ghar , etc.. Anil Dhavan I guess.... Any idea what the name of that other heroine , not Yogita bali but who becomes his wife , jisko woh end maar ne ki planning karta hain ??
Again only one number in this CD by KK but a nice one.... Aise tau bahoot song banne hain for explaning mumbai , but this one is kinda philosophical than the descriptive one....

Dont trust earthmusic network too much , I know a lot about it

Yes I do remember , the song is in the party... thrown by Rajendra Kumar... and she wants to get into his house as she can get 50 thousand or 5 lakhs something to keep Anil Dhawan away from getting any job... I remember its the party song .... she sings to attract Rajendra Kumar's attraction , as he had gone thru some bewafai , etc... But yaar just checked again , the CD does not list that song ....Anyways uploading the other two in SKS section....

Couple of years back I didnt even knew this song ever existed... a super flop movie ... but a nice number..... had recorded it on tape from some sources and was listening to it.... until cpl of months back , could get hold of nice CD quality of this song.....

Bawra_Jay, I think, for me, there are really no words to express gratitude for all the uploads you have done.
Its a wonderful thread and after doing my daily office work, I am only downloading and downloading and downloading....
Hardly getting time to listen to the songs downloaded
And I think that is the reason for many, why in case of corrupt uploads you get to know after a day or so.
My collection of KK songs has now reached atleast 800 songs (though only a percentage of the total 2909, I previously had 333 numbers) after joining this forum and mostly downloading from you numbers. Thanks a lot for the uploads.
I am astonished at the collection of CDs you have.
Hopefully your uploads will help KK fans forever to get to know the legend more ....

Whoever has played the Guitar I guess.... in this song... uske charan chuu lena chahiye.... not much in the wordings but KK and the music ... makes it hummable......
PS (guys before you complain , there is 2-3 secs skip I had to fix during the ripping of this song....tried to make it unnoticable but anyone has this on CD / DVD , feel free to replace it .... )

With all sincerity, there are only two things that Shabbir Kumar and Guru had in common.
Guru at times can get a song which will just make you laugh. Shabbir Kumar's voice in any song can make you laugh
Secondly, both can change their voices completely. Shabbir Kumar's voice on Satish Kaushik in Mr. India, one song in Mard, and one phrase in Zinda Dil are some examples of his voice changing.

Its in the medley song.... maybe one of the worst medleys I have ever heard. "Laila majnu heer aur ranjha sri aur farhaad ishq mein koi ishq mein koi mil na paaya..."
Hope you weren't offended by my comments. He sure had his share of songs like his Coolie and Woh 7 Din songs.
Nonetheless, I hope to continue with my alaps, taans, and gamaks in rendering Manna-da's songs while hoping to remain Guru's shishya, a Rafi-bhakta, and a hopeless romantic singing my heart out with Mukesh songs. :-)

Interesting Fact heard right from the source himself... Subhash ji had few flop and was going through some tough time.... so he decided to check it out with his godfather... N. N. Sippy who gave him break through KaliCharan and Vishwanath and he wanted to make this Movie Meri Jung... So Subhash Ghai once again started directing movie outside of Mukta Arts... this time for NN Sippy production....
This song is excellent example of LPs mastery on composing song for any age group any situation or any type of audience.......

From what I know from good ole RMIM days ... it was sung by Rajesh Roshan and helped by KK ..... my personal opinion you need to hear it very quietly to find out certain lines that looked to me are by KK..... First I thought it was only me who felt KK in that song but than even Pretty felt it same way and I guess some of us still thinks there is KK in the song.... one thing is for sure , its not 1 person job in that song... that "bye bye" words after 1st stanza sure looks like of totally 3rd person.... and begining of the 2nd or say last stanza that humming.....(see at 1:50 min position of my clip) sure does sound one and only KK over there.....

Another nice song... He Suno Meri Baat.... Now when I use to hear this song.... a fast paced song... and all those names he said before the song... I never understood what was it about... In the movie , this are names of all those pahadi tribal people....and this are kids..... so now it makes sense those KIDS chorus in between the song..... He is moving from scene to scene where Pran has setup training joints for training them in warefare , or kids just wondering around here and there... as the song progresses , he is joined by lots of kids......

Rhine everytime someone clicks on it whether they download it or not.. it is considered 1 download... that includes unsuccessful downloads.. where in ppl may keep clicking if they are trying to download with a bad net connexion and are not able to download the file completely, for which they need to keep trying.

I checked and found that there exists a lofi version of this site.
Search with "Kishore Kumar Hamaraforums" on www.google.com and you will find a link to hamaraforums as
http://www.hamaraforums.com/lofiversion/index.php/f3.html
Though people cannot download zips from this lofi version, but can definitely read the thread details, but this lofi version points to the hifi version of www.hamaraforums.com and a Guest user can easily download any link and zip/rar without registering!
The negatives of hot linking:
1. The parent site(here www.hamaraforums.com) gets lot of unwanted file requests.
2. Bandwidth of the site is lost in downloads by unwanted users.
3. Many people may be using this to acquire songs without registering on this site and may sell them later (to KK fans like us).
4. Other sites are gaining popularity using hamaraforums as the base site (ethically wrong).
I am sure the site admin are taking a look at the HTTP_REFERRER logs to check the details of the hits trend.
If someone wants to download a song he/she better show up as a fan by registering at this site.

Guest ya member no difference, coz none of them pay towards the maintenance or upkeep of this place.
With membership too what difference does it make? I can take a membership go to all the fora download songs and leave. I dont even need to write or upload anything.
If you ask me having membership has no big benefit. Only that we get to know the ppl. IF AND ONLY IF THEY PARTICIPATE.. else they are juz an id registered.
May be Pradeep can come up with alternatives, to stop the misuse of files shared here.

Some sites only allow request by paid members only...
Other sites allocate different bandwidth to different peoples, Unpaid members get super micro low mini websites and Paid members get light
speed downloding bandwidth....
Guest access was taken out for some time and than there was issue / complain right from the registered members about allowing them guest access , etc. So we had to put it back....
Also as some of you have said , forcing guest access will only allow them to register for the purpose of downloading only , and we would never know them without their participations....
We do check logs periodically , most of the time Pradeep is the only one who does other security checks , etc... and we try to eliminate certain problematic areas right than and there.
We can disable hotlinking , for example place a picture/image here and use as url from this server to other sites to display or fetch those pictures, but a link to the post or song mentioned elsewhere which increases traffic or bandwidth here, is something we cant control unless its brought to our attention. We have made so many request and even pointed out the users and asking them not to post links from here to other websites or groups....
Well right now the server is OK with the bandwidth and traffic but we can still improve without enforcing strict rules which might leave some good users who have not even started to earn to pay for such paid membership. Unni has consistently post links to the donation link , where anyone can generously contribute whatever he/she think is appropiate and keep doing it. Some of the members might have done once or twice in past , but what we would like to see is a consistent contribution.....
Believe me there is none such sight like HF and you wont find one like it easily.... Here we all are dedicated to music and everything we do is to spread out good music to the ears where it would be appreciated more and more everyday.....
This are just my personal views / comments....

Interesting Fact : I had always read whenever came across any Anuradha Paudwal 's interview , articles , feature , etc.. that she got her first break as solo singer for this movie ... and I could not find it on my CD ...... I got a valid PM today saying the speed of all this Uploads in terms of number of songs/album is faster than what they could download and are worried might hit the one month time limit and still not being able to download all of them... What you all say, should take a break in between and do at most one or two albums only for a given week ????
Also I am seeing is there is very little interactive conversations , informations or talks about the songs.... I personally do like to know the life story of any songs meaning any additional infos , interesting facts, etc about a song or album as whole.....

So lets talk about the songs than , did you like meri dilruba... from aap beeti ? I like it a lot but for a strange reason the latter half does not seem to me as romantic as the first half ? Anyone would have idea why did I felt like that ? Was it only me or anyone else thinks that too ?
The timings between father and son is so good in Mumbai ki barsaat ka kismaat ki baat ka.... any other songs you can think of father son duo .... with better or excellent timing ?

Just a note the volume of the Anand Aur Anand songs are too low.
Though I have all the AAA songs still I downloaded them to get a better version. But my version has the sound volume a bit ok as compared to the one uploaded here.
Not sure whether you will be able to upload a better version or not.

Hi Ravi , I just analyzed your clip thru sound editor , even though it has little higher volume (volume does not make any difference if you use gain control of your s/w mp3 player) it has more signal to noise ratio, meaning , during digitizing of your clip , some of lower audio freq where replaced by noise.... that is what happens with most of the easily available mp3 decoder....... I would still hold on to my copy of this version till I get the CD hopefully soon enough and replace it here for all Guru fans

But I do have one Bengali song from Kishore Da... I only understand parts of it where the words are easy or often heard , rest it would be great if someone can translate for people like us who are non bengoli speaking ........

Seems like BMG guys are weaker in marketing their products here in USA. I just called up few of my sources asking for this CD.... and still same reply... never came across it so far... and does not have much of BMG Crescendo CDs ... Looks like will have to wait till next trip to India...

total KK 's dhammal in this song....One of the best songs by Guru. I remember finding the translation to this song in yoodleeyoo.com in one of their tribute pages. This songs goes from every emotion from joy, happiness, craze, fame, fortune... and then at the very end of the song... sentimental, longing and grief, as he did have some setbacks in his life.

Yes , and that too courtsey of someone who had uploaded here at HF sometime back... I replaced this with my DVD version , later on when listening to it , it seems the song ends abruptly..... the quality is excellent but can you confirm its not missing any extra 5 or 15 or 30 secs of the trailing music... or else I can always watch the DVD to check it out...

Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor has given many hit movies some totally funny and on my top fav list..., many of the movies had superhit irrespective of who gave playback to this singer... Now if I list the top three singers who has given hits after hits song for this singer would be Kishore , Rafi and Shailendra Singh.... Any idea during different eras of bollywood movies that different singers where utilised to give him playback..... or was it that any singer's voice suited this actor ? I even remember Suresh Wadkar's hits from Prem Rog also well suited him.... for example Arre kuchh nahi bhata... jab rog yeh lag jata.....

I don't think Preeti Sagar is in this song at all. The 2 kids in this song are
Priya Mayekar and Gurpreet Kaur. The latter was one of the singers in the
Masoom kids "LakDi ki kaaThi". Priya Mayekar may be related to (daughter?)
Aparna Mayekar, a singer who sang quite a bit on Bombay doordarshan and
a few songs in film.

Had never heard this song... It seems Guru had a stock of songs and lyrics, and I'm sure he'd done these lines himself... he'd sung bits of 'kadar mori na jaani.....arre sargam teen taani' in Baap Re Baap. Perhaps it was a song he'd heard earlier.

The Anjaane Mein songs were excellent. We don't see them in the music store but I remember Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh dancing the "Dil Ka Rishtaa" when it was shown on Doordarshan.
Yes, you are right, the Khatta Meetha song starts with "Ghunghat Tale Gori Hansay" with Shailendra Kapoor and then the tempo abruptly reduces and goes to "Freny O Freny". It's a marriage song that Rakesh Roshan sings for his screen sister, Preeti Ganguly.
BTW, do you also have good-quality versions of the song, "Yeh Bandhan Hai Kachche Dhaagon Ka" - a Shashi Kapoor-Rakhee-Zeenat Aman film. There are two versions of the song - one is a duet with Lata and the other is a solo by KK. Can you upload both please?

Sorry, but as I told you earlier, you have uploaded so many good songs, that its hard to find time to download and then listen to all of them in such a short time.
Everyday I keep some time fixed for downloading of songs from your Pakka Dhaga.
Your efforts can never be forget. I will have all these songs in my collections forever and thus will always remember that it was Bawra Jay who uploaded them.
As for "Ginny Aur Johnny" - as much as I can remember(I watched it once on doordarshan like 15 years ago) there were some really really nice numbers (specially Kishore Kumar songs are very melodious when he sings for a children - like Ankhiyon Mein Chote Chote Sapne.., Aa Ri Aa Ja Nidiya Tu Le Chal Kahin, Na Rona Munni Na Tu Ro...).
There were most probably five songs of KK in that film(got this from a list of KK songs posted on HF here)

So, either reduce the pace of uploads (everyone's going to kill me!!) and give people a chance to respond, or accept that that ain't happening soon and carry on as usual. By the way, I haven't tweaked anything in I.E., I don't know why I am the chosen one!!
I just tried that a once out of curiosity after reading Unni ji's case for Firefox and it worked. Then you and Chitz implied I was hallucinating, so I tried it a couple of times again and it works. ..... I have not seen the movie or never came across any DVD of this old Do Dilon Ki Dastaan , the new Do Dilon Ki Dastaan , a sanjay dutt movie u can find DVD but I guess not for this oldie one dont think its out yet ... Geet Kosh or RPG .... one of them is sure wrong
.... I would most certainly go with the Geetkosh in general. RPG is notorious for
screwing up info like this. Also, OPN typically would not have chosen KK for
a song in "Do diloN ki dastaan" when he is not acting. So I would go with
"Akalmand".

Absolutely, BJ bhai! You've shared great numbers. I simply love Tere Teeron Mein Chhipe Pyar Ke Nishane and De Bhi Chuke Hum Dil Nazrana... the latter is perhaps the first Guru song I remember hearing in my life. My father had recorded it from our now antique radio with our brand-new tape recorder in the late 1970s. Kya din thhe!
Guru's 1950s output is paltry in number but absolutely unbeatable in quality... songs like Woh Meri Taraf Yoon, Mein Hanshu Ke Ispe Roun, and from Fareb, Naukri, Baap Re Baap, Rukhsana, Funtoosh etc are real gems. I wish he had sang more then!

And than while hearing it, the quality was aweful .. pretty bad ... and didn't heard after that.... Than recently somewhere here there was thread of Qawaali question and we ended up in discussing Qawaali songs by KK.... So while searching across my HD... this one came up as Qawaali songs by KK comment marked on it.......... And wow... because of that thread I discovered wonderful Album of Ameer Gharib I had but didnt listened for long time....

I am replacing it now , I had guessed something was wrong and so I stopped uploading any further songs... Has anyone else facing the same issue or its just me
... When I upload after sometime I get totally blank white page with hour glass and than it shows me the status if file was uploaded or not, at times it just gets stuck and I have END TASK ...Powered by Invision Power Board (http://www.invisionboard.com)
