Hello My Dear Friends,

I am pleased to presenting this new thread, here i will try to share the songs purly from my OWN COLLECTION which are "Hard to Find".

All songs will be in good audio quality from 78 RPM version.

Umeed hai ke aap ko pasand ayega.

First i have selected to upload two songs both are very much rare, the 1st has been taken from the Film Gorakh Nath, the song title is " Hai man ki lagan bhar poor tujay hum paa lengay".
The 2nd one has been taken from the film Heera, song title is " Uljan jo barti jaa rahi hai intizar ki.

Yes these are the songs hard to find and recorded from 78 rpm records.
But I still feel that you have used filters to choke the higher frequencies
particularly in Paro's song. Would appreciate that such songs are uploaded
without any alteration/chhed chhad with the original voice quality.

My dear Mahesh, Zankib and as well as Hashmi Jee.

I have the all set of the film Heera 1947 Music Director is Husnlal Bhagatram. except this one. Bhagya may ana dheeray dheeray, singer Paro.
you can see this song also on my requested list, my self is also badly looking for this one.
if you need the rest of the songs i will upload them, from 78rpm version.

The original name of the movie was Gorakhnath but later on changed to Maya Machhindra.
The 78 rpm records of the songs were already out having the
original name of the movie. For historical point of view Machhindernath was guru
of Gorakhnath or Gorakshnath.

He sang in "Lara Lappa" a punjabi movie released in 1953 under the music direction of Vinod.
I have another one of his from "Kisi ki yaad"(1950) under hansraj behl.
He was part of the Lahore brigade. :lol:

Compare the male voice of this song with the other song of the movie
sung by Manmohan Krishan (The old man died a few years ago and was
my neighbour for more than five years). Kindly also listen to the songs
sung by Krishna Goel who was the main singer for Vasant Desai in
almost all the movies. Listen to his songs from Parbat pe apna dera and
Dahej.

Waheedji,

I have also seen so many movies of Manmohan Krishan
and recognise his voice very well. He was a very well known
character actor of Hindi and Punjabi movies. I have heard both the
songs of Andhon Ki Duniya many times. Manmohan Krishan
was an amateur singer while Krishna Goel was a classically
trained singer. Rendition of "Is ishq ke kaanton main hai" is
far far superior to "tujhe aap bitana hai apna jiwan" of
Manmohan Krishan.

Agar aap ko "Is ishq ke kaanton main hai" ki awaz Manmohan
Krishan ki lagti hai to koyi baat nahi. Aap usey Manmohan
Krishan hi samanjhein.

I have seen a discussion here about the identity of the male singer in "Is Ishq Ke Kanton Mein Hai Phoolon Ka Khazana" Its certainly not Manmohan Krishan. I did have this song as part of Vasant Desai Collection given to me by a very dear friend who unfortunately passed away recently. He was very knowledgable about vintage music and used to meticulously tag each song with correct names of singers, music directors etc. As per the name of the singers tagged for this particular song, the singer is Sailesh Mukherjee. I listened carefully to two songs Dekh Chand Ki Ore (Sailesh) and Aa Ja Nigahon Mein Aa Ja (Krishan Goel). I find it difficult to distinguish but am more inclined towards Sailesh for the Andhon Ki Duniya song.

shooting for Shabistan (1951) and died.

The movie Tilasmi Duniya was released in 1962 with MD as Suresh Talwar.

It is unlikely that song sang during late 40s or 1950 will be used in
the movie 1962. Moreover, the music composition does not seem to be
from late 40s.

as far as this shaam kumar concerned who died during the shooting of shabistan, his real name was SYED GUL, and his faimly is sattle in pakistan (saira kazmi, rahat kazmi) etc.
i think the actor shaam kumar(syed gul) and the singer shyam kumar both are the different personalities.

A slight correction, the music for this song is composed by Dhaniram as is the case for all the other songs of Dhuan, barring Main Sagar Ki Mast Lehar, which was composed by Vasant Desai.
