are you referring to ''yeh rut mastani hai,jhoolon ka zamana hai''.that song is from nazare[1950].padmini has four songs by geetaji;but there is no rut mastani hai.

Thanks for the songs, especially the Punjabi one. May be you can help me track down one of the three Punjabi songs that I have been looking for ages. " Charkha kis ghadia' by Iqbal Begum ( Per Dr. Bukhari) from 1940's. If you know of a person or source who might have this song I would make efforts to get this one. Other two songs - 'Ni sohniye Heeriye' from Gul Baloch, By Mohammad Rafi and Ameebai or Zohrabai ( I think we all are looking for this one) and ' Tusseen naukar chale naukar chakar chale saade layi ki liaoge saugat' probably sung by Parkash Kaur and Surinder Kaur. The singers of Gul Baloch song were Zeenat and Rafi.
tuseen naukar chale: I think it was by PK and a male but I
may be wrong as I have not heard it since 60s. In the antraz
PK goes on to name the gifts she wants for her, her Nand etc.
charkha..: ever since you mentioned this song I have asked about
it from many sources. Only one person admitted having heard
it but was not sure who was the singer.

I think for 'Tussin naukar chale' I can help a little with some lines. Again I also have not heard it since the 60's.

Can any one clarify the following doubts please.

In the song no.1 above who is the MD- Gulshan Soofi or Vinod? May be for this particular song of Rafi-Asha the MD was Gulshan Soofi.

In the song No.2 above who is the lyricist? wheather it is Raja Mehdi Ali Khan or Jan nissar Akhtar.
